Newlyweds Justin and Hailey Bieber are taking a big step since tying the knot and confirming their marriage in fall 2018: They’re house shopping! (No, they’re not guest starring on the latest episode of House Hunters on HGTV, though we’d love to see them pop up on an episode.)
TMZ reported that Justin and Hailey were spotted looking at homes in Encino, California, on January 8, but we don’t know if they found something they liked. Per TMZ, one home where they were spotted was a 10-bedroom, 11-bathroom mansion, with 12,500 square feet. The price: $13 million.
Justin and Hailey split their time between New York and Los Angeles, so it makes sense that they’d want to find a permanent spot in L.A. to set up house and put down roots. According to Architectural Digest, Justin is currently renting a mansion in Toluca Lake for approximately $100,000 per month.
It seems Justin and Hailey have been house-hunting for awhile. In October, it was rumored that they were buying a house formerly owned by Demi Lovato, though that appears to have fallen through. The couple also reportedly purchased a house in Justin’s hometown in Ontario, Canada, to use as a “home base.”
This isn’t the first major step they’ve taken in their relationship since getting married: In December, they got the cutest puppy, named Oscar. (Justin calls him his “dogson.”) The duo also reportedly got matching tattoos that read “grace” in tiny, delicate cursive. Justin’s new ink rests above his eyebrow, his first face tattoo, and is meant to be easy to hide should Justin brush his hair over his brows. Hailey got the same tattoo, but we aren’t sure where it's located. (Just gotta wait for the Instagram post!)
It seems that newlywed life is going great for the musician and model, puppy and new homes included.
