This man just raised the bar for boyfriends everywhere.
As if picking out a single engagement ring wasn't stressful enough, groom-to-be Dennis Brown II proposed to his now-fiancé, Atara Dallas, with six engagement rings. According to Us Weekly, Brown, a model and former pro athlete, wanted to go above and beyond when he proposed to Dallas. To do so, he hired a stylist, photographer, florist and drapery designer as well as an event planner to create the perfect proposal—but that apparently wasn't grandiose enough. The groom took things a step further by picking out six massive diamond rings for Dallas to choose from. Brown shared a series of shots from the extravagant moment, captured by photographer Nate Veal, including one close-up of the heart-shaped ring box that contained all six rings.
“I didn’t win #6 rings like [Michael Jordan],” Brown captioned the post, “but I won at life with her, so she deserves #6 rings to choose from.”
While all six rings were stunning, Dallas settled for a pear-shaped diamond ring featuring a teardrop center stone surrounded by a halo of smaller diamonds.
Brown's drop-dead gorgeous proposal display also included dozens of red roses and a floor-to-ceiling letter inscribed with a love note for Dallas.
“A woman who single-handedly made me believe that a soulmate, a lover, a prayer warrior, a confidant and a best friend could be wrapped up in one amazingly beautiful soul that was handcrafted for me,” he wrote on the backdrop, continuing. “That’s why today I wanted to give you the greatest gift that I could ever give you … my heart and soul completely, unwavering and all yours … will you accept and hold my hand in yours through this journey?”
